Highest ranking Radioshack rider in the GC: Haimar Zubeldia +7'17"
Now that they are down to 5, it reminds me of Barloworld a few years back.

He's only 34 seconds ahead of Leipheimer...
Reminds me of Discovery in 2006.

it won't be easy and they'll need better luck than they've had the first part of the tour, but i can see both leipheimer and zubeldia
both finishing in the top ten-even with a seriously depleted team. both have proven they can bring it for three weeks in the tdf multiple times,
both are good in the mtns and both can time trial. there's a bevy of riders currently ahead of them on the gc that can't say the same.
i don't see anyone behind them on the gc that can vault over them and remain ahead of them all the way to paris.

Ya, LL will probably move up ahead of him after a couple of mountain stages. Unless Levi is still too injured to put much into his riding.
there's always one team in every grand tour like this...i remember a few years ago, gerolsteiner was like that- everyone crashed or whatever and by the time they arrived in Paris, i think 2 of them were left.

Wake up and smell the coffee. It's over.

I say send 'em both out with the breakaway tomorrow right off the bat and see what happens. There's not a lot to lose.

Lance. Something tells me Lance is going to make his comeback in Week 3. He's got a lot of time to make up though. He can do it.

Something tells me you may be doping more than is useful for a successful performance booster.
Or your tongue is so far out of your cheek...
What a horrible run run of luck. All I can offer is: Never ever back a horse I want to win.
I feel I cursed Chris Horner by predicting his win a month before the Tour in this forum and I am so, so sorry.
I should have predicted AC would win but at the time that seemed so effing trite.
Oh, well.
It's still been a gripping Tour. Lawzy, that Thor! Voeckler and the Manx Missle! The youngsters! Thrills and Spills!
Those sadistic SOBs that designed this meatgrinder have done a great job!

I've never watched or followed the Vuelta, but the announcers were commenting a few days ago about one year when AG2R had only one rider left in the race. He stayed in it because he is Spanish and was nicknamed AG1R.
