I'm looking into buying a bike to get around, well, everywhere. I found this bike on Craigslist and it seems like it's worth it ($260):
The components include: Suntour AR deurailers and shifters, Sugino RT cranks, Dia-Compe 500 brakes, Araya rims, Cycle Pro tires and an Avocet seat; for more information, see:

The other bike I've been looking into is the Ross Superior (http://portland.craigslist.org/wsc/bik/2480173330.html) which is allegedly all original parts and is only $165.
Are either of these worth the cost? I don't know much about bikes, but I just want something that I can get around Portland on (go up/down hills) for up to 30 miles/day.
