why do Tank bikes such as the micargi sm2000 have such small frames to they sell 26 in frames ???

I ride a 20" bike ...... I can ride a 18" but I feel crapt on it.

honestly, thats 9 inches bigger than my frame....it would come up to my neck probably..arent 26" wheels normal on mtb's?

26" wheels are standard mtb wheels. A 26" bike would be insanely huge....

Think about it: A smaller frame has less material. Also, there is less tubing to flex. Having a smaller frame for freeriding makes a butt-load of sense, due to physics.

small frames are much easier to whip around in the air. I have a 14" p.1 and it rides like a bmx.

An 18.5" frame would be about right on for many bikes for a six footer but it depends on the bike and what you like. How is the standover height and the arm reach for you? Have you ridden the bike? Are you moving from a different mtn bike with a similar or different sized frame?

havn't riddin the bike cause I am trying to order online is that dumb? I don't have any bike shops in my area, closest one is 2 hours away and I wanted to get bikes for my girl and I for christmas mainly for exersize but I thought I might as well find somthing I will like for a while

I'd make the two hour drive to at least check out what they are offering and get a feel for sizing and component packages. Then you can get a little closer to comparing what you're looking for with what you're looking at (and you might find they have something you like). Are you planning to do the assembly and servicing yourself?
