I was uploading a cover letter and resume through a website and I couldn't send it through because it was under "c:/fakepath/filename.doc"
this also happens when I attach photos in emails.
I was using googlechrome at the time so I switched over to firefox and it did the same thing.

help?

I've searched on google and I can't figure out how to fix it. I don't use IE either.

I had to Google 'fakepath' and went with the 'fakepath file upload' suggestion that it provided. Though this is talking about IE8 issues (kinda dated at this point, huh?), it has something to do with HTML5 and JavaScript (http://acidmartin.wordpress.com/2009/06/09/the-mystery-of-cfakepath-unveiled/). I'll have to let the resident IT gurus chime in on any fixes, cuz I got nada.
