Has anyone had a problem with xt hubs coming loose after 25 or so miles? I'v flipped the axel and put it back to shimano spec but the drive side lock nut keeps coming loose. I'm about to but red lock tight on it.
Any sugestions?

Any sugestions?Never had one come loose if the threads were good and locknuts tightened properly.

I've used 3 different generations of XT hubs and never encountered any problems.

Obviously, something's wrong. Loctite isn't commonly necessary in that application so that's probably not the answer either.

My guess is that your axle threads are worn. If you're up to take a chance, just get a new axle and see what happens. That's worked for me before. If you're tire of messing with it, you could order a whole new axle set that will include brand new cones and locknuts. I'm quite confident that'll fix it.

I've never had that problem with XT hubs.
