long story short, my right ultrashift veloce 10sp thumb lever is broken and I can't seem to find any replacement ultrashift levers.
all I can find are the crappy and inferior powershift models.

or alternatively, I need a store that sells the thumb lever that sells and ships to canada.

Yes, Powershift sucks. That's why I bought extra sets of 2010 Centaur shifters for future use.
Probably tough to find now.

Ebay ?

That one's a 2009, so it might have the "mushy" shift feel.

I thought Campy levers could be repaired?

Its components are not exactly Italian, now.
The new factory for their lesser groups is in Romania, to cut overhead/ labor costs.

can your LBS contact their distributors, and special order the part?

eww... for that price, I could buy an entire PS set.

well, that depends on the severity of the damage, now doesn't it?

Hopefully it doesn't cost too much, otherwise I guess I'll just settle for a PS model.

In 2009 they discontinued the small parts and your problem became an issue which could only be fixed with a new shifter unit. Campagnolo sells those sans mounting hardware, brake blade, and hood. Part EC-CE200 (A) and EC-CE100 (C) for alloy and carbon respectively.

Bikeman has the carbon assembly for $95

carbon http://www.bikeman.com/LD9083.html

the alloy version seems to have disappeared.

You can still buy a new Ultra Shift pair for not a ton of money. Probably not much more than you'd get one side for: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Brand-New-Campagnolo-Veloce-10-Speed-Ultra-Shift-Ergo-Shifters-EP9-VLUXC-/330748055273?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item4d021ecee9#ht_2047wt_952
