Touring - Unbelievable video

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I know this is a bit off-topic, but after watching this video, I'll never grouse about bad road conditions again! (slightly long, but worth it)

Apparently I have no idea how to ride a bike. Oh well.... I'm too old to learn now. bk

Off topic, but this was filmed amazingly. The bike riding is pretty fantastic, as well.
It's a professional production.
That rider is amazing. I'm a unicyclist, and I'm in awe at his balance, especially during the backward front wheelies.
Pffft...easily done if yer 100 pounds. Ain't no why I'm gettin' my 200 pounds of blubber in the air like that....
Thanks for posting this! Seen this video awhile ago, great to see it posted on this section of bikeforums. If anyone ever wants to push for a "trials" section on the forum, count me in on supporting that move.
The video I'd like to share on this thread is one from Ryan Leech (http://youtu.be/_uffHX87iOU). Ryan is about the closest we got here in the US to a Trials hero. He's from Canada but I'm claiming him as ours! :D

Another guy to check out is Chris Akrigg.. Check this first video out ... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WdOlkadn4E4
And then check this one out.... Where he crashes and breaks his leg.... CRAZY... http://www.chrisakrigg.com/

that made me chuckle.
oh...I might suggest this fellow buys some stock in Advil, when he gets to our age he most likely will be using copious amounts of it.
ps, incredible balance though, Ive seen this before but it doesnt take away from it (but oh...the consequences of an error....)

I watched this wondering what I can do on a bike. I can open any donut package known to man while fighting a crosswind. I can eat almost any kind of donut known to man in the rain, with a crosswind. I can track stand at the donut shop drive thru. And my candy bar skilzz, I mean, damn!!!
We'll I bet he's not riding his bike (at least that one) 60 miles a day. Worse, if he tried half of it wouldn't register on his cycle computer anyway. :)

(this film segment sponsored by the orthopedic section of the Manchester City Hospital.)
That's not so great. He had to push it up one hill. :)
Seriously, it is amazing stuff. What a creative talent, he seems to be fearless in what he will try and do!
Thanks dengidog, fantastic video.

I suspect a lot of pain went into learning those tricks. A lot of broken bikes too!
