I've been riding more for fun and exercise. My only bike is a 2006 Cannondale F400 that I purchased used in 2009. It had a few nice upgrades on it, but I'm still sorting out what was upgraded as I haven't gotten my hands on a stock parts list for it. Came to the forum because I ran into a mechanical failure that fortunately did not result in any injuries. I use it for light trails, mostly paved and packed gravel. I ride it at the shore, too. I go to Ocean City, NJ and once there, I leave the car parked and take the bike everywhere. I'd like to get a better handle on maintaining, repairing and upgrading my own bike, and eventually getting into a decent road bike for longer trips.
