Let's see.

Buddy Hayden (bike shop musician), Fatal Justice (I sense I know this person), Allister the Scot...

Yikes!

Media Creations: the west coast is a place I would like to see!

John999, are you from the GreatLand, or just a pretender? ;)

I remember Dutchy from another place altogether...does "TreeTrunk" ring a bell?

:D

(Now, back to your regularly scheduled programming...)

Yeah, I'm living in Darwin, but originally from Adelaide.

Lots of people don't have cars in Darwin ; the yearly vehicle checks are really strict and besides - where can you drive to ?

Hey John, is it true that the northern territory has no speed limits ??

It's true! Apart from city speed limits, there are none on the open road. My brother was based in Katherine for a while at the air base and the guys had a bet going to see who could get their motorbikes up to 300kph/187mph. I don't know whether the police caution drivers, for excessive speed, but there are no limits. We drove from Katherine to Darwin about 300km (from memory) in about 2 hours, not something I would recommend doing, but fun nonetheless.
Curiously, even with no speed limits a lot of people still drove at 110kph/70mph or less.

CHEERS.
