I am looking for a replacement wheelset for my Trek 7.5 fx since the rear wheel's hub has decided to call it quits. I would like a bit of an upgrade from the stock wheelset, which are Bontrager SSRs, maybe something a little lighter and hubs that will last, a faster wheelset would be nice. I would like to stick with size 32 tires as they seem to do everything I want with the bike and they are the stock size the bike came with. I am thinking of a budget of $500.00 Any recommendations? Thanks

I heard very good things about velocity deep V's laced to ultegra hubs. google around, they are within your price range.

New Easton Circuits off eBay for around $200. Original retail price was about $500. They are about a pound lighter than the SSR's. Awesome wheelset. Or you could go Bontrgager Race X Lites. About the same thing but hubs not as good and paired spokes.

Thanks for the opinions. I think the hub spacing on the fx is 135mm, not the 130mm of regular road bikes. Will these wheels fit the 135mm hub spacing of the FX? Is there a spacer I could use to take up the 5mm of space? Thanks again.
