Well after waiting nearly two weeks I picked my new bike up. I rode it around the block, would of rode father. 104 degrees here yesterday. So bike and I are going for a test run today before it gets hot.

Nice, I test-rode a 7.3 before getting the 7.5.

I hear that pics are in order.

Especially if you got the root-beer colored one w/the white wheels. That one did look pretty sharp!

Well I rode the new bike just 4 miles today. The heat here is bad. The wife and I had an excellent ride. The 7.3 rode really nice, I must say the bike shop done an excellent job with the setup. The owner really goes thru them. The bike rides a whole lot different then my 7300. Seems stiff and the ride is quite different, I think due to how you sit the bike. Not really that upright position, but kind of laid over. Shifts really smooth and quick, brakes are really good. I ordered it in white, didnt see the rootbeer with white wheels. I really think I ordered the right bike for me, I was really intersted in the 7.5 but LBS thought the wheel set wouldnt hold me. I am happy, will try to post ome pics of it in the AM.

Congrats, enjoy!! I have a 7.3 with about 350 miles on it and enjoy the heck out of it. Heat is a problem here in Fla but i ride in the morning and am done by noon before the humidity saps your energy. If you haven't yet be sure to get a water bottle and carry fluids. Again -- enjoy.

Welcome to the club!
A rear rack and bag would be a nice addition.
