The bike is fuchsia...a kind of deep popsicle purple pink colour, the lettering is chartruese, a kind of neon yellow apple green....horrid. The bars are getting grey tape. What should the cables be? I'm totally stumped.

White, or those semi-transparent ones that look kind of silver.

Need to find something that matches the yellowish decals, if possible. White would be a decent backup.

+1, check some of the BMX shops online, they tend to keep more "interesting" colors. Danscomp comes to mind:

You can get that exact color in housing from the Chinese Jagwire sellers on eBay.
It isn't the fuscia that's the problem, as you've surmised by now..... I'd probably get the lime-ish housing and then just build a kick-ace bike and not look back.

My saddle came in on Friday, so I think white cables would set it off nicely. Thanks for all the suggestions...

There are a few more bits and pieces that will be replaced and as soon as it's complete I'll take it out in the sun and snap a few more shots.
