Looks like it's never been ridden.

(And it's no wonder either - they forgot to install the pedals)

which brings to mind an idea for another possibly silly thread; "do you store your bikes with pedals off? or on?"

I can remember drooling over those Pogliaghis in the shop back mid 70s. yet another drool bike I couldn't afford back then. Or now. Love the color of this one.

I want this one.

Then buy it.

And yes, I leave the pedals on. I can understand selling a modern bike w/o pedals. The type of clipless is a personal choice. But a cleat is a cleat, pedals don't matter as much.

Thanks for the advice Iab.

Beautiful! Since I have been looking for a Pogliaghi in my size I threw a bid at it but his reserve must be quite high.

I store my bikes with the pedals off. I ride with modern pedals and have a set I put on whatever vintage bike I am going to ride. I take pictures and sell bikes with period correct pedals though.

This one would sure fit right in with your magnificent collection BlueDevil63. This seller has put up a string of wonderful bikes. Personal collection, must be, as I can't see anyone locating such great examples so often by flipping. Who knows. As for pedals, thanks. I've been curious about pics I've seen of pedal-less bikes. Having never evolved past clips, straps and cleats, I never had the option need. I get it now. This fine machine will have to remain in the "want" category for me. But that's OK.

Up to $3999 now. Definitely not in my budget right now and I am not sure that is even a reasonable price.
