Road Cycling - Hybrids and comfort bikes need a home

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I'm glad I found BikeForums, this is a great site. The only thing I can see its missing is a Bicycle Topic for hybrids and comfort bike owners.Owners of these are as rabid about them as anyone is about their bikes.I own one and find it quite versatile.Anyone else think this would be a great area to cover?...KC
Welcome hilly!
It would be great to have a topic for all bikes, but I think what's great about bike forums is that you can talk about any bike. I think that's what the General topics are for. If you want to talk about your comfort bike or your hybrid, bring it up and say something anyway- I'm sure plenty of people will chime on in and give some imput. I like that I can say anything I want.
This is the coolest site... I could stay logged in here forever!

I think you are misunderstanding what I mean. There is a Bicycle Topic on the main page for Road Bikes,Mountain Bikes,Bents,Saftey etc. There is not a area for Hybrids and Comfort. This is a good size group of people.Every charity event and some group rides I've been involved with had a few hybrid riders, more than recumbents anyway.Klein bikes has a hybrid featured in Road Trippers and Road Performance(with road bikes) in Bicycling magazines Buyers Guide. An $1,850 hybrid featured with roadbikes?Anyone willing to spend that kind of cash on a certain kind of bike realy loves that type of bike.Hybrids or crossbikes or whatever the term is still getting ignored. Why?Many riders start out on these bikes. Many stick with them and wouldn't ride anything else.I own a roadbke and a hybrid but there are some subjects that can be discussed that mainly are hybrid-comfort issues.I hope this clears up my meaning.KC
