Hi everyone:) I'm a fulltime commuter - 8 years now I've been car free - I live in sunny florida and I mostly joined up because of the the Car Free/ Live Simple thread here. I'm very interested in simplifying life(because I like to travel) and having experiences as opposed to things. Am I doing well with this idea ? :p I'm a woman, I think by nature we just have lots of stuff......so, no, but I'm working on it.
I ride fixed because I live in a FLAT FLAT FLAT place and I love the simplicity of a fixed bike also I have zero mechanical skills. I own a mountain bike and still do a lot of off road biking - I like quiet trails where nature can be seen. But I can appreciate the dirty boys and their skills.
