Are any of u fans of the music raļ?

Ana ahob al-mousik raļ!

I like very much listening to Khaled, Rachid Taha, Cheb Mami, Faudel, & many others while I am commute on bicycle to my job. Fast sound = fast pedal, is motivation!

If those who do not know, the raļ origin from Algeria, but modern develops in France. It is a mix of diverse styles, such as Americano-Motown pop, reggae, rock & roll, with an arabic sound. It plays all in France, Italia, Espańa, and of course in Africa-north. (I am now in Tunisia for awile.) I do not know if you hear
in USA.

Vittorio,

No, we in the US get very little music that isn't mainstream rock, pop etc.
There is almost no exposure here to world music, and it is almost never
heard on radio here.
I'd be delighted if they showed MTV or VHS1 European broadcasts here
as that would expose americans to more music, but I'm afraid that will not happen.

Lived in either Europe or Africa the better part of 7 years and I miss the
diversity.
