I'm working on sourcing a vintage steel bike for my brother in law so we can go on some rides together and came across an early 1980's (an '82 maybe?) Jubilee Sport in excellent shape. Everything seems to check out on it (haven't seen it in person yet - probably tomorrow night), but I believe it has Maillard Helicomatic rear hub. How scared should I be about that? I've read a lot of reports that these hubs are garbage.

I can get this bike for $150.
