I've been trying to buy road bike for months now, but am on a budget. I saw this on my local craigslist, seller is asking $425 (claims it's in mint condition, no scratches). I plan on putting my own components on it (Dura ace compact double 10 sp) off my Masi that I crashed into my garage a few years ago. Seller thinks it's from 1989 or 1990, but from research I've done this is neither of those. Anyone know the year on this beautiful bike? Is $425 too much?
Any thoughts and replies are GREATLY appreciated!!!!

Hi tshock7 welcome to the forums. it looks more like a '94ish model, but I need a bit more info. is that shimano or Campi?
depending on your market $425 seems about right if it is a in good shape, Celeste Bianchis go for mad money. I believe that is a Dedalo DB chromoly in SuperSet frame, with a Mirage group.
can you get better pice and more info?

Thanks for the quick reply!! The seller is out of town, but a housemate is going to show it to me this week. Full campi components, all original except for the seat. He wasn't sure as to the steel type. I might try and get it down to a slightly lower price, but as I said, my search has been seemingly endless (I've even considered bikes above $1000 just to get back on the road...which I can't afford!), so if the consensus is that this isn't a bad deal, I just may have to go with it :)
I'll try and get more info and maybe take my own pics. Seller isn't in a hurry to sell it, but it'd be nice to be riding within a couple of weeks :)
Thank you so much for your input, I really appreciate it!!
