Greetings all. I've used this forum as a reference point to answer a lot of questions about various bikes I've been interested in. Finally figured I might as well be able to post. Currently considering selling the two bikes I have now, Cannondale r400 and Trek 820 and purchasing a 2012 Specialized Tricross (trying to decide between the lower end model or the comp with 105s).

I use this bike to commute with jandd panniers or my timbuk2 shift messenger pannier on most days, for weekend solo rides (30-50 miles), and have ridden it in a sprint triathlon (16.3).

This bike I only really ride in the rain - but I'm riding it in an off-road triathlon in October.
