Hello everyone. I bouht a Trek1000 about 6 months ago, my first bike since age 16 (I'm 31 now). I had forgotten how much I like cycling and am totally addicted again.

I'm from the Bethpage, Plainedge area, where are you from? I have been riding a Ralieg C30, but my new ride will be here shortly, and Trek 5000 Pilot.

There don't seem to be a lot of Long Islanders around here. I have a hard enough time finding people to ride with.

Mindi have you tried going out to Greenport?..It is a wonderful cycling town...THE freindliest bike cops I have ever met. I went out there all the way from NJ just to ride.

Thanks for the tip. It is quite a ways from my house, but I often cycle out to Suffolk.

LOL..I hear ya Mindi..but just think of it this way...I go all the way out there from Trenton New Jersey...it is that nice...If you ever want to head out there send me a PM and I will see if I can get the day off from work. I am always looking for a riding partner. There don't seem to be alot around here unless you are in a club and all the clubs around here take themselves way too seriously for my newbie butt :D
