How is everyone today? Sunny in the city.

I'm Eric. Vintage road bike enthusiast and perhaps an obsessive urban rider. Weaving through traffic doesn't seem to be safe in the eyes of the police, but Toronto drivers are absolutely crazy these days, therefore, my passion to ride fast through the city is justified. Or so I feel.

This is my first of many posts on bikeforums.net. Very excited to chat with some fellow riders + talk tech, riding, vintage, etc!

I own an 80's Italian Bianchi. Gift from my father, whom also raced bikes way too fast through the city. I've also got a Frankenstein beast of a single speed, vintage frame, random parts machine!

If anyone rides bikes in Toronto, hit me up! Love to cruise every day!

Cheers!
eric

Welcome. And I could be wrong, but I would think "weaving through traffic" wouldn't be safe in anyone's eyes. Just sayin.

"weaving" meaning avoiding crazy taxi's + ignorant drivers. the dreaded right side pass w/ a right turning car driven by a driver unaware of the fact that yielding is necessary in the streets of a city. that is what i mean for the most part...

or the right side cab door. or a car taking up half the car lane + the whole bike lane. or the sudden "drop off your passenger @ the convenience store" stop without looking.

im looking out for my own safety. lol
