Take a look at this load of crap I found at Gothamist (http://www.gothamist.com/archives/2004/11/19/bike_messenger_dies_in_midtown.php):
This wanna-be journalist notes how police say the delivery truck driver was at fault for dooring the messenger yet she just has to end her article by saying:
"Bike messengers are a certainly a different breed of biker, more aggressive, more used to the city streets, more pressured to get something somewhere else on time, but it's still a cautionary tale of taking it easier."
Does that not make it sound like Bike messengers (and cyclists in general) are reckless and dangerous?
She makes it sound as though the messenger deserved what happened to him.
I posted a nasty comment on that site, they are so ignrant.
Can everyone also post a nasty comment to let "The Gothamist" know that bicyclists aren't always at fault when they get hit by cars?????

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
