Hi everyone!

I'm just a college student trying to customize my mom's old schwinn for myself and was wondering if anyone could help me out...My mom's conti still has her old chrome light (front and back) and still works like a charm. I would like to keep it on but would also like to put on a front basket. (Here's my question...) Where can I find wald style front basket that is set lower to allow me to keep my light?? (I know that I'm not crazy when I ask because I know I've seen one or two before and never thought about it until now!)

You might be able to find a bracket for the light that mounts elsewhere on the handlebar's stem to reposition the light over the basket.

You could also add a rear rack to the back of the bike & fit a basket onto it, or try the $15 (on sale) blue Axiom panniers from Nashbar.
