If you don't know what Strava (http://www.strava.com/tour) is then you're missing out! Especially if you love to climb, compete, and analyze your ride data! So now that you're totally hooked on Strava (http://www.strava.com/tour), let's get to the nitty-gritty!

Raffle Details!

For every $1.00 you donate to Christine's dMRI Brain Scan Fund (http://pledgie.com/campaigns/15763) you'll receive one raffle entry. Donate $10.00 and you've got yourself 10 entries. Obviously the more entries you have, the greater the odds of winning! Pretty simple and straight forward.

PAY CLOSE ATTENTION TO THE FOLLOWING DETAILS!!!
It is imperative that you come back here and private message me that you've donated! Make sure to provide me with the PayPal address used and your donation amount so I can verify that you've actually donated! Otherwise I won't be able to tell if it was a Bikeforum member that donated or if it was my Grandmother! If you forget this crucial step then you will NOT be entered into the raffle. You've been warned!

This raffle will run for two (2) weeks starting Saturday, August 6th, 2011 and will end on Saturday, August 20th, 2011 11:59 pm EDT. All entries received within this time frame will be eligible to receive One (1) One Year Premium Subscription per person to Strava (http://www.strava.com/tour).

Entries will be entered into an excel spreadsheet in the order they were received.

The winner will be randomly selected via Random.org (http://www.random.org/)'s random number generator and notified via the supplied PayPal email address and Bikeforum Private Message sometime on Sunday, August 21st, 2011. If the winner does not respond within 48 hours of being contacted, a new winner will be picked via the method previously outlined above.

If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, please do not hesitate to ask or private message me.

Are you unable to enter due to not having a compatible GPS enabled device? Read below.

You can still help! I realize times are difficult for many right now so any donation amount will be greatly appreciated. If you're financially capable and have a heart of gold, I ask you to please “adopt” a section of road that I shall cycle by donating $10.00 per mile. You may adopt as many miles of road you feel comfortable with. You might not receive a prize but shouldn't knowing you've helped a GREAT cause be enough? How about I give you +1,000 Karma points and Kudos and Hugs and...?!
Donate here: Christine's dMRI Brain Scan Fund (http://pledgie.com/campaigns/15763).
We'll  you for it!

If you go to Japan an MRI is only about $100 I think. The price of the plane ticket + the scan would cost less than just the scan (in the US anyway, not sure if that's where she is). I've needed medical care while I was visiting Japan and the experience was wonderful (apart from the severe asthma I got while in Tokyo). I highly recommend a trip to Japan to save a lot of money if you need some expensive tests/scans. Hope the info can help somebody, sorry if she is too sick to make the long flight.
