I've been watching for months for a trail-a-bike we can afford. Whenever one would come up, we'd be low on money that week or it'd be gone before we contacted them. Since we already have a bike trailer (also CL deal) it shouldn't be that big of a deal, but the twins were born in April, so now we don't have a way for me to go out with my 3yo AND the boys (when their necks are strong enough). 3yo is already 40 inches and 38 pounds, so a bike carrier was out of the question. She's basically learned how to ride her little 12" with training wheels ($10, 2nd hand store), and it's almost too small for her now. So today I'm dreaming in the bike section of CL and I see a Bike Trailer/Jogging Stroller listed for $10. Pic looks GREAT, so I send off the "I'm interested" email. Back to CL, the next post is a Pathfinder InStep, also for $10, and the background of the pic looks like it's right next to the trailer. I email AGAIN and in this email I say I want both. I just got the call that they're mine, because the person is ready to get rid of them, and it's easier to meet just one person. So for $20 I'm getting a TAB and bike trailer! I'll look over the trailers, and when we're sure 3yo can handle biking with the TAB we'll sell the trailer we don't want on CL for more than $20 easy. I'm just excited because I NEVER find the deals, and I finally did!

Congratulations! BUT, remember the bit about counting chickens? Hope it is as good a find as you think. I've make some really good scores on CL.

I've got them now, and they're both in decent shape, just need basic cleaning, pumping of tires, etc., to be functional. The guy is moving and his kids have outgrown them so they've been sitting in a shed collecting dust for a season. The trailer is nice enough that, should we decide we don't want/need two bike trailers, we can sell it for much more than we paid.
