Clydesdales/Athenas (200+ lb / 91+ kg) - Tri Indy is in the books
Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
As I already posted in 50+, I did the cycling leg of a two-man relay team in the olympic distance division of the Tri Indy this morning. Final, official results aren't up yet, but based on my own bike's computer, I'm happy with my time. 25.4 miles in 1:21:18, including running the bike in the transition area. I was hoping for anything under 1:30. Average speed worked out to 18.7. I passed a few folks, and was passed by more, but I expected that. All in all, I'm very pleased, considering that 2 weeks ago when I first scouted the course I did it at 16.5.

Wow! I figured you'd maybe do mid 17's. 18.7 is fantastic.
I almost overcooked myself. At the end of the first lap I was at 19.1. It became clear that wasn't sustainable for another 12.7 miles.
To avoid burning up bandwidth with double posts, here's a link (http://www.bikeforums.net/showthread.php/758146-Tri-Indy-is-in-the-books) to a thread in 50+ that has a few photos taken after the event.

Congrats! That's a very nice speed for not being allowed to draft. I think I might be able to manage 17 in a group over 25 miles but doing it solo would be impossible for me at this point.
