So I am picking up a bike on CL listed as "Men's Fuji Club-Le 54 cm". Is it actually a men or women's bike? I can't seem to find any info regarding this bike. And is $300 worth it? It seems to be in pretty good condition with sti shifters. Any link/info will be helpful, and can anyone confirm if it have 700c wheels?

Not classic, not vintage, it was a bike sold at Performance Bicycle stores. It would be quite odd for a bike that modern to have 27 inch wheels. Mens bike, although most bikes are considered unisex.

I've read that this bike is second only to the Fuji Team model, their top-of-the-line. So the Club should have some pretty good gear attached to it. Check to see what shifters it uses and rims and brakes, I'm willing to bet the equipment they used on this bike was pretty good.

If so and it's in VGC, then $300 is probably not out of line...

Sorry, but this is not that Fuji Club. This is a modern bike, they just reused the model name. Nothing in common with the vintage Fuji Club.

Ahhh, my mistake.

Thought he meant the vintage model...

Yeah, its too bad, as the vintage Fuji Club was a really nice bike. I hate how they reuse model names without consideration of quality, style, type of bike, or whatever.
