Northeast - Any place in eastside midtown Manhattan to park the bike shielded from rain?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
I go to midtown Manhattan a lot these days, and it rains sometimes, which is not good for the bike, from maintenance point of view. I wonder if there is any place to park the bike such as under a huge roof or even indoor so the bike can stay dry? Maybe I'm dreaming? :(
NYC garages are now required to accept bikes. Some of the chains charge as little as $20/month. If you're going to the same area on a regular basis it might be worthwhile to check garages in the area. They should have their rates posted.

Unless your bike is made out of soap, a spot of rain won't kill it. Even if it's steel, a little bit of water isn't going to turn it into rust instantaneously.
Just keep the drive train lubricated and the parts clean, and you'll be fine. The only real cause for concern is making sure you maintain control of the bike when the streets are slightly damp and therefore slick.

42nd st between 1st av and 2nd av(north side-Pfizer bldg?). Bike rack is inside building lobby,
I'm assuming you have to have some kind of business there to be able to park(doorman/security
in lobby).
