General Cycling Discussion - kryptonite mini wieght vs onguard bulldog mini wieght?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. i am considering these two locks, both are about the same size, however i am having trouble finding how much each of them weigh, just the lock itself, does anyone know?
They both offer different locks with the "mini" moniker. Look at shipping weights on Amazon, that will give a close guesstimate. I'd assume two similar locks will be very close in weight.

Typically the "Mini" refers to the 5.5 inch version, as opposed to the 7 inch. They are both comparable in weight. I believe they are just under 2lbs. The Kryptonite crossbar is a little thicker, so it feels slightly heavier, but the difference is negligible. Your question pertained only to weight, but assuming you are trying to decide between the two, you may want to focus more on the size. Both are great locks when used properly. The Onguard is slightly longer and wider than the Krypto. If you have a thicker framed bike, it may be better for you.
