Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Hi Folks,
I recently stumbled across this site and seem to spend a lot of time here:)
I am a 30 year old guy living in Morgan Hill just south of San Jose, CA. I ride a TREK 6500 with a brand new frame and Psylo XC fork. The frame was a factory warranty replacement for the one that cracked, or at least creaked! And the Psylo, well that just went on today. The price was just too good to keep riding the three year old Judy.
Now I have 3 Forums to peruse...
WWW.BikeForums.Net for the bike.
WWW.FORD-DIESEL.COM for the truck.
WWW.FORDMUSCLE.COM for the 64 Falcon Convert
Nice to meet you all.
Andy Boyden
Welcome! Andy. I hope you won't live up to your moniker. What's riding like in Morgan Hill? Hope to hear more from you.

ljbike- Unfortuneately I usually do live up to my moniker. We ride some pretty rough terrain and well sometimes things don't always work out as planned. The riding around here is pretty much either flat or steep. We choose steep. Yesterday we went to Henry Coe Park
http://www.coepark.parks.ca.gov/
In two to three hours we can't get more than 10% into the park ! It's about 25 minutes to drive out to the entrance but well worth it. I just put on my new Psylo XC fork and it is a million times better than my old Judy.
velocipedio- Are you trying to tell me you don't own a car or a truck? That would be pretty amazing these days. Anyway it will give us something to rib each other about:D

I just have to put my $0.02 in here.
Chevy Rules.
I'm on my third Chevy right now. I've still got my first!
1968 Chevy half ton truck - runs great
1990 Chevy Beretta - sold due to too many miles/collisions (145,000 and 3 collisions!) - Only one involved me and it was not my fault. THE DEER RAN OFF!
1996 Chevy S-10 - Runs great. Will own for another few years at least.

I know. I've been brain washed since birth. Dad's got a few of Henry's finest almost 100 years old now if you include the 08 Model S and the 10 Model T:cool:
Yeah, Fords break down sometimes. But at least their slogan is not "like a rock." Does that imply they would sink well in one of those indiana lakes?:D
Oh, at 145,000 miles my powerstroke diesel is gonna have about 350,000 more to go!:p
Gotta rib you guys back.

My current project is my 1970 1/2 ton 4x4 with factory air that still works!
It's been lifted (by previous owner) about 4 inches and 31.5" tires. I'm currently replacing the front and rear ends from an 80's vintage 1/2 ton to upgrade to disc brakes in the front!
Cosmetically, it's crap. The truck was repainted probably 6 years ago and the clear coat is nearly all but gone! I'm working on getting it mechanically sound before I begin any cosmetic work!
Besides that, I've owned nothing but GM cars (since I've been buying them for myself!).
Currently own:
2001 Tahoe 4x4
1992 Cavalier Z24 Convertible
and the 1970 4x4
