Track Cycling: Velodrome Racing and Training Area - On-line souce for front rings? (UK preferably)

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Hello,
can anyone help me with a reliable on-line source for front trackrings?
Preferably in the UK or someone who will post them quickly and reasonably priced. I have tried Chainreactioncycles, Terry Dolan, Ribbble, etc etc.
I am looking for 47T, 49T and 51T, 130 PCD, 1/8"
Thanks in anticipation .......

Not sure about UK stuff.. I got a new one at speedgoat.com recently for a pretty good price. (an FSA track chainring for $47) best price I saw. The FSA is 144BCD, but they did seem to have a decent selection.
130 bcd and 1/8" rings arent really all that common but there are a few options over at http://www.velodromeshop.net/index.php?p=catalog&parent=215&pg=1 But you may want to save up for a nice set of 144bcd cranks rather than investing a bunch of money in your 130s.
I got a few from sheldon brown, but I don't think they have any 1/8" rings.
I like this advice:

Tom,
If you haven't invested much into your 130BCD system, maybe consider using 144 BCD cranks. 144 is the track standard. It will make finding (or borrowing) track chainrings a lot easier.

I have a hunch the OP may be a time triallist, given his location, who may want to use a tt bike with track rings for a road event.

thanks for advice re 144. The bike came with 130 and I already have a 48 and 50, so it wouldn't be economical to change whole chainset at this stage.

"This stage" is an early stage. You have only bought 1 extra ring over the one that came with the bike.
If you plan on taking training and/or racing seriously it would. If you don't buy 144 now, you will eventually.
