I had a day off last Monday and decided it was a good time to go riding. I'd been wanting to do my first century so off I went! Anyway, I was almost home when I felt something hit me in the rear. It hurt bad enough to nearly knock me off the bike! I couldn't believe it. Apparently someone in a car had thrown something out the window at me. Naturally, I didn't get the plate number, or a very good description, as I was busy trying not to crash. The road is a residential street, 35 mph speed limit, and I was on the right in the proper place to ride. Getting around me was not a problem as there wasn't much traffic. What's with people? I could have been seriously hurt. It was a miracle I didn't crash. I just have to wonder what people think sometimes. I must admit it made me pretty mad. (Left quite a bruise also) Anyway, be careful out there. I never saw that coming, just got whacked out of the blue.
