Don't know what they're called, but the bit that holds the brake onto the dropbars on my panasonic is super loose. How do I tighten them?
Any special tools involved.
If so, can I just zip tie then?

Thanks for the help

There should be a Phillps head or hex head bolt under the brake lever that needs to be tightened.

Loosen the break arms at the wheel to put slack in the cable, and then pull the break lever all the way to the bar. In the opening between the hood and the top of the lever you should see the head of a fastener. Tighten that, until the hood is secure on the bar.

Thanks all. Once again this place rocks.

All ok, except the brake levers I have use either a 4 mm or a 5 mm Allen bolt.

With one set of levers (non aero), I have to remove the cables to tighten the bolt. With the two others, I simply depress the lever and wiggle the Allen key through.

I have some DiaComp brakes that use a slotted screw

Hex head is an Allen head.
