Mountain - Plains - Cycling in Sheridan, Wyoming

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
We will be road cycling in Sheridan Wyoming in mid September. Is there a cycling club there that posts routes that we can download?

Hi Shona,
Welcome to Sheridan!!
There are no active bike clubs that I am aware of.
You may want to contact Back Country Bikes www.backcountrybikes.com
if there are any they would know. Most of the paved roads would be
out and back trips. If you want to do a longer ride, Sheridan to Ucross to Buffalo
then to Story and back to Sheridan is around 90 miles. Most of the roads are not heavily
traveled. MapQuest can show the roads. Have fun!

Ride up into the Big Horns from Ranchester. Or out towards Burnie if you like it flatter.
Also, see if you can contact user Jamawani here (he doesn't post that much anymore) - he used to live in Buffalo and knows every road in WY.
