Well Im from Montana. Didn't start riding until I was 50. It was either get in shape or die. Started out with a mountain bike but that only lasted about a year before I could see the need for a road bike. Now all I ride is my road bike unless I'm hunting down some gated road. Then the mountain bike still comes in handy.
