Today way my first ride since I got hit by a car 6/24/11. I managed 14.4 miles. It felt good to ride but still have some issues to work out.

Keep riding. It will work itself out and make you a better rider. I know because I got ran over by a truck while waiting at the red light on the curb. I foolishly thought the driver saw me as I was looking straight at him. Now Im much more careful and more aware whats going on around me. You got ride back on the saddle, better than me ...it took me a month.

she: what do you do differently now to be more aware? I have a friend who puts his hand up when he sees a car that might be in his way and waits to see if they acknowledge it.
