So it started off so well, got some sleep, had a good breakfast, little to no wind, bikes all clean and ready to roll. First 25k was prety mundane just shooting the breeze and warming up slowly, go to shift down and then trouble, the shift on the Sram broke right off, the part had fatiqued and no warning just gone! So did some major yelling called my bike every name in the book, calmed down called wife and she brought out my back up/beater bike. So lost an hour of light there which kinda threw a curveball into our plans. Anyway got on the bikes again and headed down the road. We started in Oshawa and our first official stop was just past Couburg from there we carried on to next little town I honestly can't remember them all as we went through about 30 towns of various sizes but stops where about every 30-50k depending on water situation. Made a longer stop at 170k mark to have a sub in Napannee or at least I did my b-inlaw was starting to feel it here and said he couldn't stomach real food. After this next major stop was Kingston he was feeling pretty bad here and I firced him to eat a bagel and have a coke. That brought him right back, this was at the 210k mark. Back on the bike and had a great view of the St. Lawarnce for the next little while, the traffic was a little high at times but very patient and we had really no issues the whole day. Just after Kingston we hit the Ivy Lea bike lane which took us almost all the way to Brockville, it was nice to get off the road and away from traffic but the lane was pretty beat up and it took a lot out of us to keep our speed up along here, lots of bumps, holes, gravel ETC. This was likely the hardest stretch for me, my right calf cramped right up and both legs where quivering pretty good, I got the cramp worked out and after that it was ok, also at this time I was having problems breathing as the muscles on my sides where hurting, I think from improper bike fit as my back up bike is more set up for commuting. Anyway my b-inlaw was having same issues but we are both head strong and kept going. This was between 250-285k, after that we sorta got things worked out or our bodies where just numb to the pain and we pushed on. Brockvile was next and after a water stop we pushed on as light was fading and then at 8:10 we hit our end, 322km, 11:01:55 with an average speed of 29.2km/h and it was finally over!

Outstanding time! You need to come to California and do the California Triple Crown Series, you would be one of the fastest.
