I found a used bike being advertised at this URL:

The price offered is $60. This seems pretty low to me and I wanted to hear some input from other people on the chances this actually may be deal worth investigating.

Link doesn't work, but if it's the Kuwahara you're talking about it's nearly certainly worth $60. (To me at least)

if it is close by it might be worth a look. I don't think it a $1000 bike in need of little elbow frease but may be a nice run about. it looks late '80s to me judging from the thumb shifters, bar and stem
