Introductions - New guy from BC Canada

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
Hi there, I had been a long time biker but stopped the sport way back for other reasons in life; picked up MTB biking again last year after this 24 years break, just rescently pull out my 84 Andre Bertin C132 from the attic, starting the rebuild process and getting her road worthy. Here are some pictures of the Bertin:

Nice Bertin in great shape.
I think that it's a C34 amateur racing model rather than a C132 which were their Cyclotouriste bikes. The C132 bikes had longer wheelbases and rear chain stays for carrying panniers.
Here's my 1979 C132:

Verktyg, thank you for identifying the Bertin. She is indeed in plenty good shape as I had only had her on the road for 3 years before I put her in storeage.

Bertin was the importer/distributor for Shimano in France from about 1974 on so they used a lot of those components on their bikes. Bertin shared the Milremo trade name with Ron Kitching in the UK. Kitching was the UK importer/distributor for Suntour.
Bertin stopped producing bikes in the early 90s and concentrated on distributing parts, components and accessories. In 2000 Shimano bought out Bertin and changed the name to Shimano France or something like that.
My 1975 C34 looked like this C37, same colors and so on.
