My wife and me are just beginning to look into the possibility of a Triplet. Ultimately we would like it set up so that I would captain, while our 5 year old daughter would be in the middle with my wife behind her as the stoker.
Are there any Triplet owners here, if so, can you share some experiences-Pro's & Con's, etc... any info would be most appreciated.
Thanks

We own a 2002 Aluminum Meridian triplet. Our four-years old sits in the middle with a child stoker and child back set up. For us, it has been be an amazing family experience -- fun, educational, confidence building, bonding. We have done up to 50 miles in a day, and 100 miles in a weekend. For the best information in making a decision, I recommend Mark Livingood's article on multi-seat tandems on his web-site.
For exceptional photos and stories, try Mark Johnson's web-site a precisiontandems.com.
There are relatively few used triplets available (supply/demand), but now that Meridian has gone out business, there are about three dealer demos at a good price.

Triplets are also being built out of carbon fiber by Calfee and ariZonatandems; available with S&S, so you can convert between triplet and tandem. Neat!
I ride a Bike Friday travel triplet with my two daughters, ages 5 & 7. They love it. We have lots of fun.
We took it on Amtrak, in it's suitcases, for a fun train/bike trip this past summer and more fun was had by all.
$3k, delivered. Try one if you can.
