I have a 1980's Peugeot PKN10E, with a swiss threaded bottom bracket shell but with no bottom bracket. I have a supplier of bottom brackets to suit this rather specific need in the US (postage will be expensive so trial and error is not an option really as Im in the UK), but they only stock 115mm or 119mm spindle lengths. The Shimano 600Ex Double chain set (FC-6207) which I have, is listed in a 1980's catalogue as needing a 116mm on this site:

Which is the best option, to go for the 115mm or 119mm? I have tried building a spindle out of wood to test this size, but it didn't go well. Ive tried sketching scale diagrams, to see if the crank arms or chainrings clash, but to no avail. Any help would be really appreciated. One of the last parts Im trying to sort out on my first project.
Thanks for reading.
