Has anyone here tried Gatorlytes, a salt powder that you can add to a drink? It is part of the "Gatorade Pro" series. Each pouch has 780 mg of sodium and 400 mg of potassium.

I've read that it is better to eat salty foods than to take salt tablets. The reasoning (I think) is that your body knows when it is craving salt, and will tell you by the taste whether you are getting too much. Because Gatorlytes makes your drink taste salty, I would think it serves the same purpose.
