If so, I would like to speak with you about trailer control systems. Anti jack knife stuff. PM me if you would be willing to answer some questions for me. Would really like an inside opinion of what is out there, what comes standard on trucks if anything, etc.

I've never had my silverado jackknife but I was jacked-up for a speeding ticket a few years back.

ABS for tractors is fairly new, the vast majority of trucks don't have ABS yet, although it is standard in a few models. Liberty Mutual does demonstrations every year. Check with your insurance company?

When talking about tractors with trailers 48-53' long, use the phrase "class 8".

if you rent a 5t truck, you wouldn't need a trailer :innocent:
