Professional Cycling - Let the trash talking begin for TDF 2005

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Let's wait a few months before talking about the TDF.
Or don't.

Lance is not going to be 7 and 0, he was in a couple of TDF before he started winning, I believe he actually dropped out of each one.

Regarding Jan's comments: I guess doing speed and getting caught is training hard. I guess entering virtually every season 20 or more pounds overweight is also hard training. And, being 10 pounds overweight six weeks before the Tour begins is also proper training. Gotta admit, I like his attitude--if not his perspective on what training really is!
That said, Lance may well be trying to do the boy (and himself) a favor. Even he admits Jan likely has the greater amount of raw talent. Hell, I'd want a little serious competition, too. I wouldn't want history to have any doubts whatsoever as to why six or seven TdFs were under my saddle.
