Yup, sometimes it's good to know that it's more than just a page of pictures and sloppy writing. :D

Strong dude, that is for sure! I mention a person close to me that lay down and died. I was referring to my uncle. Tough guy, bad ass mean MOFO. Stricken with diabetes, turned into the biggest baby ever. Just rolled over and died like a mouse. I was disappointed.
But this dude is a fighter!

yeah ... I used to blog a lot ... and when I'd hear from someone like that it meant the world to me ... like what I was doing, even as seemingly inconsequential as it was, mattered :)
BTW Beanz ... I may be re-locating to SoCal ... if I do, I'm looking you up and riding with you!

Mr. Beanz, congrats on making a difference, even if it is in a small way, to someone having to deal with that. The people that can fight cancer and still live their life are true heroes.

Big :thumb: to you for making a difference in that man's life. He said he enjoyed your videos too, so the next time someone says that making ride videos is "egocentric" or a "waste of bandwidth", point them to this blog post.
Keep up the good work! :)
Both you, and your unnamed correspondent, are inspirations to us all, Beanz. Keep doing what you do.

Thanks! That's why I asked his permission to post it on the blog. I've been accused several times in the past of thinking my blog is all that and that I feel it's a privilege to be posted there blah blah blah!
Far from the truth, my blog is about the people and guys like this are what make it worth while! :thumb:

Thanks! I love it when I receive good words from fellow riders and parnters in person but when a person you have never met takes the time to write it out and send it? It too is great but his content makes it special! :thumb:

Wow, that's incredible!
I've heard that a lot of fighting something like cancer is finding the will to not give up. You might have made more than just a small difference.

Good for you Beanz. Puts it all in perspective. The writer is a true hero and it makes any weedy excuse of "not feeling like riding" pale into comparison. I too hope to see that video one day...another great reason to stick around the forum ;)
