Hello everybody,
I have a set of Cinelli Bivalent hubs, complete with freewheel, skewers & hardware. They are used but in good shape.
What do you think they are worth? I've seen numbers kicked around from a few hundred on up.
I'm not sure what I want to do with these hubs. They should really be on an old Cinelli.
Any thoughts?
Thanks in advance,
Velogusto

Definitely hundreds. Depends on condition. Maybe as much as $750.

Thanks for your response BlueDevil 63. I will post pictures soon.
The whole idea of these hubs is neat. I can see even today, how beneficial a similar system might be.
I'd agree with Blue Devil.

I stripped a hub on one during a test ride long long ago. The engagement of the freewheel to the hub body was not especially stout.

Those would sell very fast on eBay with a $600 BIN, they look to be in great shape, have the skewers and the freewheel looks unworn. Shine 'em up, take some steel wool to that rust on the freewheel and try a $750 BIN with the option for "Best Offer". These things are as rare as hen's teeth, nicely done.

Velogusto.. Your hubs are extremely rare and very valuable.. the $600 to $750 values that are mentioned here are less than half of what they would/should sell for.. if you sold them already, I hope you got a good price.. cheers... nelson
