Noob question...
I'm really only familiar with tires 20"- 26" on BMX/Muscle bikes & 27" on Vintage road bikes.
I've just recently taken an interest in road bikes, since all my bikes were tanks.
It's about time I got a "Big Boys bike". ;)
Can I use a 27" tubes with a 700C tire?
I'm into older bikes(69,77,80,84) & have stock piled old parts for my old bikes.
I want to get into newer rims, & sourced a pair locally.
Just got a track frame & will use 700c rims & tires.
If I could use this tube this would save me a trip to the LBS, & I'll ride with the new rims since I always carry my tools.
Sorry if this question has been asked to death before.
I did do a search but most post or banter about how 700c tires will not fit, I already know that much.
I've been told 700c tubes will work with my older 27" rims, so I'm wondering if this work the other way around?
Thanks guys.
PS:
Love this site!!!
It's helped me substantially with getting to know about bikes other than BMX.
Who would have thought an old "BMX'r dog" could learn new tricks.
