Big George Hincapie take the stage in Stage 2 of the USA Pro Cycling Challenge? This is a guy who has worked so hard for others for so many years. Whenever he takes a stage it just makes me :D:D:D:D:D

Absolutely loved it! :D
Also loved seeing TJ move into yellow and seeing George, TJ and TD on the podium for the stage together.

I get six full lines over any post that my cursor stays on for more than a second. Not sure what you mean BD.

Yeah, you're right. That's more than used to show. Not a big deal anyway. Anyone looking to avoid a spoiler shouldn't put their cursor on a thread with spoiler in the title anyway.

Yay! Go Big George.
I got to meet the man once at an Amgen charity ride and have my picture taken with him.
In my book, a nicer, more deserving man you will not meet.

George is from Queens NY, like me, so how could I not be a fan?

Honestly, I don't know how the heck he became a pro cyclist being from these busy streets, but good for him!

Go George!

Yeah, I loved it too! :D:thumb: Been a George fan since I lived in Greenville SC, where I believe he is still worshipped as a God! What a great guy.

If I didn't know before hand, I would have been screaming at the TV when I saw the rerun. Nice to see him get a "W".

I didn't know and I was yelling and pumping my fist in the air. Go George!

Having a problem watching over here as the Relay from on course keeps breaking down and not much of the race is able to be watched---

BUT- If any of you are following La Vuelta- there is a rider that I picked out in the Tour of Poland called Marcel Kittel. Not a rider that had caught my attention before Poland but he stood out again today. Not often a "New" name catches my eye for long as just after I have decided to follow them- they get a drugs ban. Provided everything is Kosher with this rider- he is going to be one to watch in the future.

And La Vuelta today- flat stage that was ridden slow but the last 10K got up to speed and the finish is "Exciting"- May not be the right word but I'll say no more.

And may be the Colonial aspect of me- but I am surprised how Cadell is coping with the altitude. It is hitting him but not bad for a "Lowland" rider.

He's also coping with the heat. Yesterday it looked like the entire peloton was suffering even on the flats.
