Hi
I'm trying to decide what spoke length I should use.

The Non-Drive side needs 278.3mm and Drive side is 276.3mm. Could I just buy 278mm spokes for both sides?

It's a 90's Zipp Ballistic Hub and a Kinlin XR-200 rim ERD594. 1x on both sides. 28 holes.
I have attached the spoke calculator image for all the details.

And this is the data I found for the hub measurements: http://www.zipp.com/support/identify/hub_timeline.php

Buy 276 & 278 if you trust the measurments. If you buy spokes that are too long - particularly on the drive side - you will run out of spoke threads before getting the wheel dished correctly. I tried it once, never again.

The last time I bought spokes, I found a guy on Ebay who has a Phil Wood machine and cuts to length. I bought a lot of 40 spokes cut to the lengths I specified and paid a very reasonable price.

No. After .5mm of stretch they'll bottom on the drive side.

That's this guy:

He's great, and very inexpensive.

Okay i see how it wouldn't work. 2mm of extra spoke + 0.5mm of stretch would be too long and I would run out of threads before I finished dishing the wheel.

And I found the guy on ebay too, thanks :giver:
