I am considering buying a Peugeot Chrono 2000 model. I can get a good price on it but I am not familiar w/ these models. I was wondering about the quality and longevity of the product. It has Shimano Sora group w/ STI. Does anyone have experience w/ these bikes (Peugeot) at all? I know they are an old French company and this particular bike was hand made in Quebec. Any info at all is greatly appreciated.

I have not ridden a peugeot in many years. the model I had was a PX-10 it was top of the line at that time. It was a great bike,I could ride it all day. It was made out of 531 tubing. the bike you are talking about was hand made? What type of tubing / what's the geometry of the frame? I would test ride it a few times,if it fits and you like the way it rides .... buy it ;-) hpoe this helps
